01/10/2007: "THEATRE - DRAMA, MUSICALS"

FALL OF 2008, AND WE'RE TAPPING OUR TOES WITH "TURN OF THE CENTURY"

Currently playing through to early November, at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, Illinois, a brand new musical called "Turn of the Century", starring Jeff Daniels and Rachel York. Directed by Tommy Tune.

2007 STARTS WITH A SHIPWRECK !

2007 was an exciting year for Barrington Brolly. Catherine Zuber, Costume Designer, won the 2007 Tony Award for her costuming for the Broadway play, "The Coast of Utopia". As you may recall, we provided the parasols and umbrellas for this marathon Broadway play. And, although it was a small contribution, we are overjoyed at having had the opportunity.

2007 started with a bang - actually, a shipwreck. But since the 'shipwreck' is on the stage of the Lincoln Center Theatre on Broadway, NYC, the situation is not a bleak as it sounds.

It is with great pride that we were asked to provide parasols for the second installment of the play "The Coast of Utopia", currently playing to rave reviews at the Lincoln Center Theatre. The cast of "The Coast of Utopia" includes Billy Crudup, Richard Easton, Jennifer Ehle, Josh Hamilton, David Harbour, Jason Butler Harner, Ethan Hawke, Amy Irving, Brían F. O’Byrne, and Martha Plimpton.
